The recovery from Hurricane Helene continues apace and many Western North Carolina attractions have reopened. In fact, it’s actually beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here – Asheville Christmas 2024!
There’s no denying that Hurricane Helene struck a hard blow. A full recovery will take years and some things may never come back. The holiday season is one of the nicest times of the year here, with twinkling lights and festive decorations everywhere you look. People are warm and jolly, delicious treats abound, and there’s just so much to do and see. Let’s face it: not even a hurricane can stop an Asheville Christmas!
