Asheville Orchid Festival – March 28–29.
This American Orchid Society–sanctioned show sees hundreds of orchids and thousands of plants for sale, including rare species, hybrid varieties, and educational demonstrations for gardeners and plant lovers alike. One of the Arboretum’s most popular annual events.
Music in the Mountains Day – April 4.
Live performances from local musicians paired with the scenic mountain landscape, creating a relaxed and magical outdoor atmosphere.
Arbor Day – April 11.
Guests learn practical ways to care for trees and support healthy forests, highlighting the vital role trees play in ecosystems and communities.
Native Azalea Day – April 18.

World Bonsai Day – May 9.

Spring Plant Sale and Market – May 29–30.
