at Bent Creek, an Asheville Mountain Lodge

• Prices: are based on single or double occupancy and do not include13% sales and hospitality tax.  We can accommodate an additional person only in the Water Room for a charge of $50 per night (queen bed and roll-a-way bed). Two people is the maximum for all other rooms.  Check Availability.

• Room Accommodations: Our rooms feature a queen or king size bed and one or two sitting chairs. Two people is the maximum number of guest per room, except for the WATER ROOM, which can accommodate an additional person with a roll-away bed, for a charge of $50 per night. Check Availability.

• Children: We only accommodate children over 12 years of age at the lodge, unless the entire lodge is rented for a private event.  Guest that arrive with younger children will be redirected to other B&Bs or local hotels. There is no age minimum for children staying at the Luhn house.

• Minimum Stay: We have a two night minimum for weekends and holidays.  One night stays do become available depending on other reservations. Check availability or give us a call to see if a one night stay is available.  No minimum for midweek stays.

• Breakfast: A full breakfast with fruit, baked goods, hot entrée of the day, coffee, tea and juice is included with each LODGE guest’s overnight stay.  Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:00.  An early breakfast may be requested for guest with earlier departure plans.  Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions. LUHN HOUSE guest may add breakfast at the Lodge for $20 per person, with one day’s advance notice.

• Gift Certificates: Bent Creek Lodge Gift Certificates are available for purchase online or by calling.  We are not set up to accept gift certificates from other vendors such as BedandBreakfast.com or Expedia. If you wish to use an Expedia gift certificate you can make your reservation thru their website.  We do honor Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association gift certificates, as well as Visa and Master Card gift cards.

• Deposits: Reservations for SINGLE rooms, for 1 night require a full deposit at time of booking. Single Rooms, Group reservations of 2 or more rooms, and the Luhn House will be charged 50% of the lodging cost, plus taxes, at the time of booking.

• Cancellation Policy: Because we are a very small inn, every reservation is important to us. When plans change at the last minute, it can be difficult for us to rebook the room. We reserve your room exclusively for you, so we kindly ask for as much notice as possible if your plans change. The following policy applies to reservations for one or two rooms.
  • 30+ days before arrival:
  • 100% of your deposit will be refunded to the credit card on file,    
  • Or transfer the full deposit to a future reservation or gift certificate.
  • 15-29 days before arrival:
  • Deposit will be refunded to the credit card on file, less a $50-per-room processing fee.
  • Or transfer 100% of your deposit to a future reservation or gift certificate.
  • 7-14 days before arrival:
  • First night’s room charges and taxes will be applied as a cancellation fee.
  • Or transfer 100% of your deposit to a future reservation or gift certificate.
  • If deposit exceeds the first night’s charges and taxes, the remaining deposit balance will be transferred to a future reservation, converted to a gift certificate or refunded to the credit card on file.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival:
  • The full reservation amount will be charged to the credit card on file for cancellations, no-shows, and early departures. Because we would much rather see your room enjoyed than sit empty, we will make every reasonable effort to rebook it. If we are able to rebook any of the cancelled nights, we will create a future booking credit or a gift certificate for the amount recovered from those nights, less a $50 per-room processing fee. Future bookings an gift certificates may be used  during the rest of this year or the next calendar year. Credit card or cash refunds will not be provided.
  • Special Reservations:
  • Reservations for 3 or more rooms, weddings, holidays, October stays, PGA Golf Week, and all Luhn House stays require 30+ days’ notice for any refund. Changes or cancellations made with less than 30 days’ notice are subject to the full balance of the reservation, unless we are able to rebook the cancelled room nights. If we are able to rebook any of the cancelled nights, we will provide a future booking credit or gift certificate for the amount recovered from those nights, less a $50-per-room processing fee. Future booking credits and gift certificates may be used during the remainder of the current year and all of the following calendar year.
• We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. When possible, please contact us as soon as you know your plans have changed.
• Pets: Animals are not permitted in our mountain lodge nor the Luhn house. Service animals are welcome (by law). A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under ADA. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered and under the owner’s control at all times. Service animals may not be left alone in your room or any other part of the house. Damage caused by a service animal will incur a minimum $100 charge for repair/cleaning, up to the total amount required to restore a room to prior condition.
• Payment: Due by check-out for all balances.  We accept MC, Visa, Discover, American Express, personal checks, traveler’s checks, Bent Creek Lodge Gift Certificates, Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association Gift Certificates, and cash.  We do not accept gift certificates from other vendors.  

• Smoking: The lodge is smoke-free inside the lodge and on all of the rear decks.  Smoking is permitted on the front porch.  Please respect this aspect of our lodge.  There is a $150 cleaning fee for smoking in a guest room.

• Text Messages: By confirming your booking, you agree to receive SMS messages from us regarding your reservation prior, during, and after your stay. You may opt out of these messages at any time by replying “Stop.” We may also subscribe you to our monthly newsletter. You may clik “Unsubscribe” at any time, at the bottom of each email.

Amazing B&B in Ashville, NC Beautiful and comfortable room with a balcony featuring a terrific view. Breakfast was one of the best ever in our extensive B&B experience. Hoping to return with a group of friends as Bent Creek Lodge is a perfect location for a gathering. Don’t miss the NC Arborium just a couple of mikes away in addition to all the other charms of the mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
