Our Romantic Bed and Breakfast in North Carolina has 10 guest rooms on 3 different levels. Each room is decorated in a different North Carolina theme. Rates range from $175 to $350 per night depending on the time of year, day of the week, and room amenities. All rooms have private baths and individual heating, air conditioning and come with a full breakfast. The beds are fitted with comfortable, upgraded mattresses and soft Comphy Company linens. Many guests fall in love with these sheets and purchase them for their own homes. All of the rooms have irons & ironing boards, alarm clocks, USB power ports, and hair dryers for your convenience.
The Rhododendron Room – Classic Queen
Queen bed, ceramic tile tub & shower, upper level. You almost smell the flowers and fresh mountain air as you enter the Rhododendron Room. The local photographs, weathered wood, and purple and green hues make you feel like you’ve stepped into the forest. It has a weathered gray queen-sized bed. The ceramic tile bath with a combination tub & shower has a large vanity for all your bath items. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond, and is adjacent to the Wildflower room and the Bird Room.
The Bike Room – Classic Queen
Queen bed, ceramic tile tub & shower, upper level. This cheerful room with the old-timey big wheel bike art and the antique bike poster reminds you of simpler times. It has a back door to the 2nd floor balcony for long range views. The queen size iron bed with black accents gives the room an air of sophistication. The ceramic tile bath has a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Water Room and the Bird Room.
The Bird Room – Classic Queen
Queen bed, ceramic tile tub & shower, upper level. The Bird Room was inspired by feathered friends that nest on the property and visit our feeder. It is filled with houses and photos of native birds with binoculars close by. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony where you can view the birds at the feeders in the gardens below as well as the mountains beyond. It has a queen size bed, ceramic tile bath with a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Outer Banks Room and the Bike Room.
The Tree Room – Select Queen
Queen bed, ceramic tile tub & shower, lower level. The Tree Room captures the feel of the forest with soft mocha colors and beautiful queen bed made of cherry branches. The back door opens to the spacious lower covered, deck with swings, rockers and views of the forest. It has a slate tile bath with a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Mountain and Cherokee rooms.
The Waterfall Room – Select Queen
Queen bed, ceramic tile tub & shower, lower level. Featuring local photographs of cascading waterfalls, this room speaks to the beauty of Western North Carolina’s lush landscape. It has a rustic, pine log, queen bed, slate tile bath with a combination tub & shower. The back door opens to the spacious lower covered, deck with swings, rockers and views of the forest. It is adjacent to the Tree Room.
The Water Room – Signature Queen
Queen bed, large bath & glass enclosed shower, upper level. Inspired by waterfalls, rivers and streams of the area, the blue accent wall behind the heart pine trestle bed is like resting beside the water. Journal or check email at the warm, pine desk. The spacious glass enclosed shower is like being in a waterfall. Located on the west end of the 2nd floor with private door to balcony and mountain views beyond. 3rd person can be accommodated with portable bed for $35 per night. The Water Room is adjacent to the Bike Room if 2 rooms are needed.
The Mountain Room – Signature King
King or Twins (+$20 for twins), large ceramic tile tub & shower, lower level. Traditional quilts and memorabilia bring to mind the rich heritage of Appalachia. The back door opens to the large, covered deck overlooking the garden with swings and rockers. The king bed can be set up as two twin beds when needed. The bath has a large soaking tub with shower. It is adjacent to the downstairs sitting room and the Tree Room.
The Wildflower Room – Premium Queen
Queen bed, large bath, 2 person whirlpool tub, upper level. Located on the east end of the upper floor with door to the balcony and mountain views. Features queen bed made of locust logs cut from the property. Decorated with photos, etchings and pottery of local wildflowers. Snuggle into sensually soft sheets and you feel surrounded by the forest and flowers. The bathroom has a 2-person whirlpool tub, shower, and granite-top vanity which provides plenty of room for all your travel necessities.
The Barn Room – Premium King
King bed, large bath, whirlpool tub with shower, ADA accessible, HDTV, main level. Full of rustic charm and all the amenities of home, this room has a king bed, large bathroom with whirlpool tub, 32” HDTV with Dish Network, and a writing desk. It is handicap accessible; meeting all ADA codes. Located on the main level, with ramp to the front porch, allowing access with no steps involved. The tub has a wall mounted shower head plus hand-held shower.
The Fern Room – Premium King
King bed, large bath, 2 person whirlpool tub with shower, HDTV, lower level. The walls and accents in soft, soothing greens, give the Fern Room the feel of a lush, forest glen. Features a king bed and spacious bath with oversized, 2-person jetted tub. The back door opens to the large, covered deck overlooking the garden with swings and rockers. It is adjacent to the downstairs sitting room on the west end of the lodge.

Our Favorite in Asheville Area This is our 2nd time at Bent Creek Lodge, a Romantic Bed and Breakfast in North Carolina. We stayed 2 nights in Tree Room. Had an early morning appointment so staff left a breakfast bag for us to take with us and it was perfect. Great place for social distancing with covered outdoor deck outside of room and outside tables for breakfast as well as ability to enter room from inside lodge our outside deck. Property is beautiful with gorgeous wooded garden and walking trail and plenty of birdwatching. Very close to NC Arboretum and Blue Ridge Parkway. Staff is great!
