2022 Asheville Christmas Attractions
Winter Lights at the North Carolina Arboretum
November 18 through December 3
Winter Lights returns with a 50-foot lighted tree and the gardens illuminated by nearly half a million twinkling lights. Tickets are available now but tend to sell-out fast.
National Gingerbread House Competition
November 28, 2022 through January 2, 2023
You won’t see award winningly inventive gingerbread houses like this anywhere but the National Gingerbread House Competition. Wow! Visit the event website for non-guest dates and hours.
Holly Jolly Christmas Trolley Tours
November 19 through December 30
Enjoy a holiday-themed trolley tour of Asheville, complete with Christmas stories and caroling with a live musician. This seasonal tour takes you past beautifully decorated Pack Square, Biltmore Village, and more.
Dickens in the Village
December 2 – 3
Visit historic Biltmore Village during the annual Dickens in the Village Festival and find yourself whisked back in time to the days of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. This immersive holiday event includes dozens of carolers, actors, and musicians in Dickensian era costumes strolling the brick-lined streets of the Village. Wonderful holiday fun and a fantastic shopping opportunity.
Christmas at Biltmore 2022
If you’ve not yet experienced a Biltmore Christmas, you’re in for a real treat. This year’s festivities kick off with a Christmas tree raising on November 2 and continue on into the early days of the new year, 2023.
