Spring is just around the corner and that means Biltmore Blooms, the annual festival of flowers at Biltmore Estate. Come tour the always gorgeous grounds and gardens while they’re bursting with more than 100,000 flowers.  Now through May 25th, 2023

The Asheville area is always beautiful but spring and fall are particularly noteworthy. This is especially true here at Bent Creek Lodge, which is located right off the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.

In fact, nature lovers staying at the Lodge will discover they don’t need to go anywhere to take in stunning, spring views. Our spacious decks and porches provide excellent vantage for taking in the surrounding natural beauty of our extensively landscaped grounds. You can also also explore our Lodge trail, which leads past native perennials,  down to the creek, and to our fire circle. From there, you can follow other trails leading to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Mountains to Sea Trail, and even the neighboring North Carolina Arboretum.

Biltmore Blooms 2023 at Biltmore Estate

Biltmore Estate’s springtime festival of flowers, Biltmore Blooms, is an annual, ticketed event, running now through May 25th, 2023.

Visitors will discover more than 100,000 flowers blooming in gardens across the grounds, all through the season. Beautiful, bright daffodils kick things off, followed by lovely tulips, then azalea, rhododendron, roses, and a host of others. Explore acres of colorful, fragrant gardens and the phenomenal orchids in the Conservatory with a self-guided tour. Biltmore is also home to 22 miles of hiking trails through woods, meadows, and along the French Broad River.

Once you’ve taken in the estate’s lush flora, consider checking out one of their other offerings.  Biltmore has plenty to see and do, including exceptional dining and shopping.

Italian Renaissance Alive at Biltmore Estate

The brand-new and immersive  Italian Renaissance Alive experience uses the art and stories of famous artists to take you through one of the greatest artistic periods the western world has ever known. Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, Botticelli and others are represented via large-scale, 360-degree view projections accompanied by a powerful musical score. March 3rd, 2023 through January 7, 2024.

Thirsty? Stop by Biltmore Winery in Antler Hill Village for a tasting of the limited release, spring wine, along with charcuterie and locally-made truffles.You’ll also find a variety of shopping nearby. In fact, it’s very, very easy to spend an entire day exploring Biltmore Estate.  Relax, take in all the beautiful sights and scents of spring, do some shopping, dining, a little wine, then it’s just a short drive back to your comfy room at Bent Creek Lodge.
